Mant USA offers an Electroless Nickel coating on our Metal Bond, Resin Bond, and cBN products. We offer a standard 30% and 56% coating percentage on our diamond products and a standard 60% coating percentage on our cBN products.
Nickel Coating Designations:
MBNB-Ni60% – This is our cBN Black coated to 60% Nickel
MBNA-Ni60% – This is our cBN Amber coated to 60% Nickel
MMB-Ni30% – This is our Metal Bond coated to 30% Nickel
MMB-Ni56% – This is our Metal Bond coated to 56% Nickel
MRB-Ni30% – This is our Resin Bond coated to 30% Nickel
MRB-Ni56% – This is our Resin Bond coated to 56% Nickel
Mant USA Nickel Coatings improve bond retention and assists the transfer of heat from the grinding area, minimizing localized overheating and avoiding thermal degradation of both the diamond and the bond. This results in extended crystal and bond life and higher working efficiency.
